If you want to learn the style of Muay Kao, and more specifically, how to clinch, THIS IS THE GYM! This is my second time in Thailand and throughout my trips in Koh Samui, Koh Pangan, Koh Tao and Phuket I have trained at quite a few gyms (fighters/intermediate sessions). The gyms were great, but my issue with them was the lack of clinching (some weren't even allowing knees to the body in light sparring) That was until I started training at FA Group. The fighters have 2 sessions a day (2.5 hours each) and the afternoon session is dedicated to the clinch (includes 40 minutes of clinching!!) They have a lot of trainers and fighters on the mat to give you feedback and hold pads for you, and the conditioning at the end of the session will make you into a killer!! So in short, this is the BEST gym that I trained at in Thailand!

Very nice and friendly. Dropped in today late evening (01.01.26), asked for a PT session and the few people (of a family?) "hanging" around at the gym fetched me a very good coach (Ali). Soon after lots of people had dinner on the street, looked very family and cozy while we worked out. Corrected so many fundamentals/details. (Much) more than in a quite big gym I had been weeks to right before on PPhuket. Great details, very warm people. Had only time for one session, if I can manage to come back to Thailand, I'll come here again!

Training with *Khamwong* is a unique experience. A trainer with incredible energy, sharp technique, and a true passion for Muay Thai that you can feel in every strike and every correction. Precise, patient, and motivating—he brings out the best in you, even when you think you’ve got nothing left. His dedication and teaching style make all the difference: you learn, improve, and enjoy yourself at the same time. A true master, inside and outside the ring. If you're in Bangkok and want to take your Muay Thai to the next level, *Khamwong is the one.* Grateful to train with him every day. 🙏🥊🔥

FA Group Gym is amazing! I came all the way from California to train here and focus on my clinch game. The trainers are extremely technical, patient, and share so many small details that make a huge difference. After training at different gyms, I can honestly say this has been the best experience by far. Highly recommend FA to anyone serious about learning real Muay Thai. The manger she was amazing pair me up with the right trainers

Had a great private and group class sessions! Kru Kong is super friendly and knowledgeable. He helped fixed some fundamentals and taught me new techniques. Can’t wait to come back, thank you. 🙏

Great training: It was hard, lots of people my age and weight (79 kg ish). Most importantly the trainers make it fun by 'bullying' fighters and attendees in a fun and loving way. They seemed to care about you because the trainer corrected my technique and tried to make it fun. Also for himself. So that is alot of fun and makes you feel welcome. It was really challenging, but I loved it. I hope they keep this style of training.

This is by far the best gym I’ve trained in my time here in Thailand and I even changed my plans in Thailand to come back and train more in this gym. Coaches here are very professional and brutally honest about how your technique and they will focus on improving your technique and cardio. Very easy and comfortable communication with the gym on WhatsApp, and the gym is located in a great spot where there is everything you need. High level of techniques, clinch and conditioning.

I had a private session with Kong and he was great! He took time to correct and improve my form much more than any other gym I visited in Thailand. Khob khun khrab!

The training is neither good nor bad, you will get your 3 rounds on the pads (there was a time when 5 was the norm). Clinching and lots of drills. Good for conditioning and very structured training, but very little in the way of feedback. Its good to see that FA group is still open after all these years, when lots of the other old school gyms have closed down, but dont be confused, its not the FA group of old. All foreigners with no thai's training is never a good sign of a gym on the up.

At the end of April I trained at FA in Bangkok. I felt so intimidated, probably being the least experienced fighter there. The trainers were nothing but kind and supportive to me. Another girl training there introduced herself to me and told me that the owner was Vietnamese 🇻🇳 just like me. From that moment, the FA boss spoke to me in our language and made me feel at home. He even introduced me to his father – who was visiting from Vietnam – and showed me the back of his house and businesses. The trainers are literally world champions in the most prestigious stadiums, yet they always acted humble and gave so much knowledge away to us farangs. The way they treated my mate Edmund during his fight camp was amazing – they got him fit, shredded, and skilled up so he did well in his fight at Raja. Thank you for inviting me 🙏 When I come back, I’m training my ass off – working 1-on-1 with more kru’s, learning as much as I can, and ignoring all the attention seekers! 😤
